In 2024, the Sigma Scholars Foundation needed a modernized website that could support its mission of providing scholarships and educational resources to young students. The goal was to create a robust digital platform where the foundation could streamline its scholarship applications, manage event registrations for fundraisers, and facilitate donations, all within a cohesive user experience. Working closely with the foundation, I developed a custom-built solution that integrates these critical features and strengthens their online presence.
Objectives
- Website Redesign: Rebuild the site with a clean, engaging design that reflects the foundation’s dedication to youth empowerment and education.
- Integrated Event Registration: Create a custom event registration application to manage attendance and details for the foundation’s annual fundraisers, including the Celebrity Golf Tournament and Scholarship Banquet.
- Scholarship Application Platform: Develop a user-friendly, secure application system for students applying to the foundation’s scholarship programs.
- Donation Platform: Incorporate a donation feature that allows visitors to contribute easily to the foundation’s mission.
Key Features
- Custom-Built Event Registration System: A tailored application that simplifies event management and provides a seamless registration experience for attendees.
- Scholarship Application Portal: An intuitive application process for students, ensuring they can apply for scholarships with ease and security.
- Donation Integration: A straightforward donation platform that encourages support for the foundation’s programs, with options for recurring or one-time contributions.
Results The newly launched Sigma Scholars Foundation website has become a vital tool in the foundation’s efforts to engage supporters, manage events, and provide scholarships. With an integrated system that combines event registration, scholarship applications, and donation capabilities, the foundation is now better equipped to fulfill its mission and reach more students and supporters.
